The Board of Certified Occupational Safety Professionals (BCOSP) is a non-profit organization for issuing certifications for occupational safety practitioners who meet the criteria of competence framework.

Our mission is to inspire the professionalism in occupational safety practice through world accredited certifications and safeguarding people.

  • Our certifications are accredited through the ISO/IEC 17024 standards for personnel certification programs that are recognized as world based professional practices.
  • BCOSP is accredited by American Certification Service โ€“ Global Program (ACS-GP)  under the ISO/IEC 17024 โ€“ Requirements for bodies operation certification of persons.
  • The Board works for the purpose of issuing certifications to qualified candidates.
  • The Board sets up criteria to approve Authorized Training Providers (ATP) for examination preparation courses Worldwide.

BCOSP exams

BCOSP sets up a variety of exam methods such as online, pencil and paper, open book exam etc. The most popular exam is still online one. However, Open Book Exam is getting more favored by many people. Candidates have 24 hours to complete an exam and submit their work by email or via our system.
