The Board of Certified Occupational Safety Professionals (BCOSP) is a non-profit organization for issuing certifications for occupational safety practitioners who meet the criteria of competence framework.

BCOSP is accredited by American Certification Service – Global Program (ACS-GP)  under the ISO/IEC 17024 – Requirements for bodies operation certification of persons.

Our certifications are accredited through the ISO/IEC 17024 standards for personnel certification programs that are recognized as world based professional practices.

Our focal areas

  • Evaluate and certify and re-certify the competency of qualified practitioners engaged in professional practice in occupational health and safety expertise.
  • Encourage qualified people to make use of management, leadership and effective communication to improve their professional practice.
  • Provide recognition to the practitioners who meet and maintain certification requirements.
  • Set up criteria to approve Authorized Training Providers (ATP) to deliver exam preparation courses Worldwide.
